Kate Frawley was selected for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award because she consistently demonstrated what it means to lead through character, effort, and example.

Throughout the season, Kate was our most consistent and hardest-working player. She approached every practice and every game with the same level of intensity, focus, and determination. Her effort never wavered, regardless of the situation, and she set a standard for what it means to compete.

What distinguished Kate most was how she showed up in challenging moments. When the team faced adversity, she did not pull back. Instead, she elevated her play, worked harder, and helped steady the group through her actions. She was a tone-setter in the most unassuming way, leading through consistent effort, hard work, and reliability.

Kate’s impact extended beyond her individual performance. Her work ethic, positivity, and commitment to the team influenced those around her and contributed to the overall culture of the program.
