Kate is a critical member of our team.  She is a senior and a captain (for 3 years).  She is a leader on and off the ice.  She is a player that puts the team first as evident that she was a forward and we needed her on defense and this year we needed her back on forward. She is also a very coachable player and plays wherever she is needed. All these moves are done without hesitation on her part.  She respects her coaches, team members, referees and opposing teams.  She has a 4.29 GPA in school.  She shows up to practice every day with a positive attitude and spreads that positivity among her teammates.  She only has two penalties this year and always shows great sportsmanship, on and off the ice. She never has anything negative to say and consistently raises the morale of her teammates on the bench and in the locker room.  She helps out on Sunday mornings with the Milton Youth Learn to Skate Program and has for the past 3 years.
