Karlie is an unwavering person of steadfast character. She does not get rattled when taking the most difficult courses at a highly rigorous academic school nor when she is faced with the stiffest hockey competition in the country. She plays hockey with respect to her teammates, coaches, opponents and referees. I have never seen her retaliate, never heard speak negatively of anybody else and always, always has a positive aura. Verbally committed to Princeton, her hockey talents are a reflection of her impeccable character. Karlie is the person to whom I point when other players ask what they can do to be better. She is the first one on the ice for each practice and acts as a role model to the younger players on the team.
