Johnnie as known by his teammates, is a positive leader. He is a deserved Captain. He is continually positive in the lockeroom and on the ice in every situation. He consistently sets an example on the ice and in the weight room by working hard and inspiring his teammates to do the same. He displays a strong character in leading the teams underclassmen and communicating to the coaching staff to reinforce a strong positive team culture.
