This athlete has endured a lot emotionally this season w/ the diagnosis of his sister w/ lymphoma cancer. John is a senior captain and has dealt w this adversity in a sense not even adults can. He hasn’t wavered a bit and has carries his character onto the ice where he is a true sportsman. He also leads the state in points w 61points , has received the Moynihan athlete of the month award for Dec (4.1GPA ) and continues to be he backbone of our team . He is highly recommended for this honor
