Joe has been a mature leader his entire hockey career.  He is willing to put his team first and do what is necessary for team success.  He moved from forward to defense this year and has been an integral part of some key victories.  His off-ice activities and dedication to education are second to none.  His work ethic and quiet leadership are hard to find.
