Jeff is a outstanding student on and off the ice. When he is in the presence of other students, whether it is in the locker room, on the ice or in the classroom, he is a student that everyone looks up to. In addition, he is the type of athlete and player that EVERY coach wants on their team. His positive character traits and determination, strong work ethic and leadership style, makes Jeff a wonderful nominee for this distinguished award. I couldn’t think of someone else better that not only represents the Hobey Baker Award, but also the Urbana Hawks.
