Javed grew up playing Defense for West Haven Youth Hockey. As he entered high school the hockey team didnt have a goalie. Javed was approached to play the position and agreed without hesitation. Javed has gone from never playing goalie to one of the top in the state, amassing more than 1000 saves in his 4 years. He has been the backbone of our team. For this reason Javed is the nominee for the Hobey Baker award for West Haven High School.
