Jason Ziegler is a young man who has matured into an incredible leader on his hockey team. Having experienced a hockey season with much disappointment the previous year, Jason has fully dedicated himself to leading his team on and off the ice, in order to be able to graduate knowing he was an integral part of restoring Notre Dame Hockey’s program to a standard of excellence. Jason is one of the most highly skilled defenseman in the state of CT, and is a very well-respected, mild-mannered young man, who has raised the level of expectation throughout the entire hockey program, by holding himself and his teammates accountable while having the privilege to be a member of the Notre Dame hockey program. He leads by example through his relentless work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and his desire to help those around him. He is an exceptional young man, who shows concern for others, and always treats everyone with the utmost respect. He embodies everything that Notre Dame Hockey hopes for all of it’s players to strive to represent and stand for.
