Jamison Donofry embodies character traits that represent the essence of the Hobey Baker Award. He influenced, inspired, and guided teammates toward shared goals while fostering a positive, resilient team culture. He led by example through exceptional work ethic, maintained composure under pressure, and possess high emotional intelligence, empathy, and accountability. He acted as a bridge between the team’s vision and its execution.

He has demonstrated why he wears the “C” on his jersey as he has exemplified what a leader does, both on and off the ice. He become a mentor to all members of the team. His 2025 / 2026 on-ice accomplishments placed him as the second best in goals and assists amongst Abington’s team rankings.

He become a trusted advisor to the coaches and was versatile in the varying positions he was asked to fill, whether it was offensive or defensive focused. His hard work ethic and contributions to the Abington program in practices and on game nights will be missed.

It is because of these qualities…… Teamwork, Dedication, Integrity, Exceptional Play, Humility, and above all, Character…that Jamison is the Abington High School 2025/2026 Hobey Baker Award recipient.
