1.Leadership Positions with CB South
a.2025-2026 season Senior Captain of the CB South Hockey Club: Working with teammates, coaches, club board members, on ice spokesman with officials. Setting an example and working with our Middle School feeder club.
2.View of Sportsmanship and how you try to be a “gentleman sportsman”
a.In my experience, a gentleman sportsman is someone who respects their opponent and is a good teammate on the ice and on the bench. I work to be a gentleman sportsman by always trying to lead by example and by controlling my emotions on the ice and respecting the rules of the game as well as my opponent. In a game this season, a player on the opposing team lost his temper and punched me in the head. He then tried to rip my helmet off my head. My first instinct was to react and possibly receive a significant penalty but instead I just kept my cool and let the other player take the penalty and skated away without retaliating. This took a lot of self control. I did this because a gentleman sportsman is not someone who loses control of their emotions, it is someone who respects the game enough to let the little things go and do what’s best for the team. That is the type of player I strive to be. You never know who is watching you play. Most games there are younger hockey players waiting for their own games to start and they watch us play. I want to set a good example for them most of all.
3.Character- in relation to hockey and how your character has served the hockey community and the larger non-hockey community in your area
a.I love giving back to the community by doing whatever I can to make people smile and brighten up their day and make life easier for people that may be struggling. For exampleI do this by signing up to volunteer with my teammates at Central Bucks Barclay Elementary school’s food market. The market is something that the CB South hockey team has done for a few years now. Also, as senior captain this year, I am planning on getting the team to meet up and put together comfort bags for cancer patients in the area and deliver them to a local cancer center. This is a cause my family has been a big part of for over ten years. To give back to the local hockey community, I have volunteered my time over a few summers to give back to various hockey camps with the younger players. I am currently signed up to help coaches this coming spring with camps as well. One of my favorite hockey memories was taking part in a game to benefit the Blind Hockey organization.
4.”A love for the game”- please provide a brief description of your love for the game and what playing for CB South has meant to you
a.I have played for the CB South Ice Hockey Club for the past 8 years. In the 5th grade I joined the middle school team and I have grown to really appreciate and love the club, coaches, and my teammates. Freshman year, I was a swing player for the varsity team which meant I had the opportunity to play with my older

brother who was the captain of the team that season. My brother loved playing for CB South and he showed me how great of a club we were a part of. I have always looked up to my brother as a role model and I wanted to be a captain one day just like him. It didn’t take very long for the CB South ice hockey team to have a special place in my heart. Being a swing player as a freshman and then being on the frozen varsity roster from sophomore year on up, I have really grown to appreciate the competitive nature of CB South hockey and the bond I have with my teammates. After playing for the same coaches for numerous years, there is a lot that they have taught me and there is nothing I would not do for them on or off the ice because they all have taught me to love the game of hockey.
