James is a dedicated hockey player, good athlete, good student, and our team captain.  In addition to being all of those things, he also had to deal with the death of his mother last year.

James plays multiple sports, works hard, and leads by example.  He is a fine young man who exhibits sportsmanship and maturity in hockey, and perseverance and determination in life.  It is my pleasure to nominate him for the Hobey Baker Award.
