Jake has been our student manager over the past 4 seasons. He is self motivating and needs very little direction. He is loved by all of his teammates and coaches. 3 years ago he gave up his spot on the bench in the State tournament to a senior Junior Varsity player. WHAT a selfless act, but not surprising. This is this kids character. He played hockey his entire life, but limited sight in one eye has prohibited him from playing high school hockey. When I talked to the team captains, they are said to give it to Jake. I agreed 100 percent.
