Jacob is a four year varsity hockey player at The Woodstock Academy and throughout his tenure, has done everything to help the team succeed. As a freshman, Jacob came originally tried out as a center and was asked to switch to defense in order to best help the team. His leadership capabilities led to his selection by the players as an assistant captain during his junior year. He has continued to lead by example as a senior by being a dynamic captain for his leadership both on and off the ice. His work with the school B Club shows Jacobs dedication to improving his community and his ability to motivate teammates is second to none. Jacob works closely with the coaching staff to ensure that systems are consistently implemented from all players and he sets the tone of how our team should play on the ice with his relentless effort and strong discipline.
