Jake has served as the captain for the South hockey team this year and went above and beyond his responsibilities to his team-mates. He was an example of sportsmanlike behavior, he was the first one at the rink and the last one to leave, he took responsibility for communications to the team, and served as a liason between the coaching staff and the players. He is a gentleman in every sense of the word, is an upstanding student, and led a group of students through all the adversity that the team experienced this year.
