Jack is a great example of all that the award stands for. Jack comes to practice every day with a great attitude and always works hard.  He is always looking for ways to make himself better and as a result it makes the players around him better. Jack never gets down on himself or on his teammates, he is willing to listen to the coaches and do whatever is asked of him. Most importantly Jack respects the game of hockey and everyone who plays.  He shows great sportsmanship by playing the game hard but appropriately.
