Jack Johnson exhibits great leadership characteristics both on and off the ice. As a Captain of the STMA High School Boy’s Hockey team he leads by example with his hard work ethic, positive attitude, and support for his teammates. Jack is somebody who will advocate for his teammates, speak up for what he believes in, and pick others up when they need it most. As a leader he exemplifies what it means to be a team player and always gives 100% in everything he does. It is a privilege to coach Jack and we believe he is an excellent candidate for the Hobey Baker Award as he wholeheartedly embodies all of the characteristics that make the game of hockey so special.
