Jack Greenwald is an outstanding young man of tremendous character and work ethic both on and off the ice.

On the ice, Jack is always prepared and a pleasure to coach. He is a fierce competitor who gives 100% of himself to his team. Jack always demonstrates respect for officials, opponents, teammates, and coaches.

Off the ice, Jack serves the greater community of Hamilton-Wenham by volunteering at the Acord Food Pantry and at the annual EdFund Christmas tree fundraiser. In addition, during his Freshman and Sophomore years, Jack was a member of the Interact Club. A club whose motto is “Service Above Selfâ€_x009d_.

When others are asked to describe Jack, they highlight his character, strong moral compass, and general “good eggâ€_x009d_ qualities. It is for all of these reasons that Jack has been selected as the 2017-2018 Hamilton-Wenham Generals Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
