This is the 4th year I have had the privilege of coaching Jack Cartwright. Jack excels in academics each year and is well respected by his teachers and peers. He is also the class vice president at Mountain Vista High School.
Jack stands out among his peers on the ice, by setting the example of hard work and dedication to the sport of hockey.
Jack’s dedication to Team and his unique ability to speak to others with respect to gain their confidence sets him apart from other players.  As a Junior in 2013 Jack was the Varsity Team Captain, since he displayed leadership abilities above and beyond boys in the Senior Class.
Jack is well respected by his teachers, coaches, and peers. He is respectful and courteous to others, always ready to help underclassmen/teammates learn and develop as hockey players.
Jack sets the example for other players from an academic and athletic standpoint, on a daily basis. He always has a smile, a friendly word or encouragement, and positive attitude. We are lucky to have such a great young man on our team.
