Dulaney High School | Lions | BOYS

Ian has played forward for the Dulaney High School Hockey team for the last four years. He only started playing organized hockey four years ago, but during that time his hockey skill level has improved dramatically. His tenacity and hustle has been evident and consistently present in every shift and in every game making him a leader through example. Ian’s achievements on the ice have all been reached while quietly and enthusiastically accepting any role given to him by his coaches.
Ian will be graduating from Franklin High School this year and like many is exploring both college and military options for future endeavors. As well as playing hockey Ian has done volunteer work for “The Mission Continuesâ€_x009d_, a veterans group that partners with communities and schools for special projects. Ian is a team player with exemplary character and sportsmanship. He reminds players and coaches alike of the role that high school hockey plays in the development of student athletes. I believe this young man deserves the Hobey Baker High School Character Award and I proudly nominate him.
