Hunter’s father passed away in an auto accident before the season began. Despite the family tragedy, Hunter embraced being around his teammates during football and throughout the hockey season. He has become a positive leader, and has excelled on the ice and in the classroom. He has played almost every single game in goal this year, and has performed at a top level each and every night. In addition, he held a 4.0 in the classroom for the semester. He is carrying a 3.8 GPA overall, and is looked upon as one of the leaders in the classroom as well as on the ice. His combination of hard work, perseverance, humbleness, and gratefulness will take him far in life. His coaches are certainly proud of what he has accomplished, and his father would be extremely proud of the successful young man he has become.
