Hampton is one of the most driven, committed, and focused athletes I have ever coached. He sets an outstanding example for his teammates to follow every day. Hampton is usually pretty quiet, but when he speaks his teammates listen. He instead tries to lead by example by the way he conducts himself on and off the ice. As well as being one of the top goaltenders in the state he also is a straight A student in the classroom.
