Grey is a continuously positive-attitude player both in the game and during drills. A ref came over to me in a particularly unruly game and said Your player is very good at keeping his team mates focused on the play and not getting into skirmishes – you would have several penalties from those guys if he wasn’t there. The ref was of course, referring to Grey. In a difficult season with a difficult team, Grey was an outstanding leader and a person who clearly understands and respects good hockey and good sportsmanship.
