I have had the pleasure of coaching Grace Dufromont for the past five seasons on the Bourne-Mashpee-Wareham-Old Rochester (BMW-ORR) Girls’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team. Over these five seasons, I have watched Grace become the true definition of what a teammate is. Grace has pushed herself to the next level as both a student hockey player and an active member in her community.
Grace is always the first player to show up to the rink and the last to leave. She always puts the team first. Starting a sport in eighth grade is not an easy task, especially when that sport is ice hockey. With her hard work ethic, determination, and perseverance, Grace learned how to skate and play hockey at the same time. She has a positive attitude and is always there to cheer her teammates on.
Grace is a passionate and dedicated young woman who goes above and beyond to get the job done. Grace has taken a leadership role during our fundraising events always lending a hand. Her drive and passion for ice hockey has helped the program reach its eight season
