The Hobey Baker Award Committee believes that adversity builds character, and character builds excellence. Grace is a leader in our locker room and someone that the girls can trust. She competes hard, day in and day out, and has become someone that the team can lean on. We play two goalies and that is tough on the two kids in that situation. Grace has worked hard on her mental game and poise – she is ready when her number is called. She never complains and does whatever she can to contribute to the team, each and every day. I cannot say enough about her resolve and what she means to our team. I am very proud of Grace and can’t wait to see her compete at the next level.
