Upper Montgomery | Lightning | BOYS

As team captain, George led the Upper Montgomery Lightning’s young roster. He was a guiding influence on a team with only four seniors among the varsity roster. The team exceeded all expectations this year and lost in a shootout against a team that has not lost in the county or state playoffs in nine seasons. Upper Montgomery won our first ever division one playoff game in fifteen years of high school ice hockey in Montgomery County, Maryland. This season George excelled and scored more points as a senior than in his prior three seasons combined. Off the ice George serves as a big brother within the special needs community.
