Gage has been part of the Lakers Hockey program since his freshman year and was named Assistant Captain at the beginning of this year. He had battled through some academic adversity in his early high school years and I believe it has made him a better person through his perseverance. This year he has been the glue that maintained the camaraderie of our team through growing pains of 14 new Varsity players. He is a leader who always maintains a positive attitude and great sense of humor on and off the ice. However I think his most important attributes are his empathy and love for his teammates, and it has been contagious. His Leadership Characteristics will carry him to success in all aspects of his life.
