I have coached this athlete since he was an 8th grader. He has never been the biggest or strongest, but he has never let that slow him down or impede his desire to play. No matter the opponent or obstacle in front of him, he always pushes through with class and humility. He’s always the first one on the ice and last off. His senior year has not gone the way any of us would’ve liked but he has taken it in stride. He has used his experience to help mentor our younger wave of Sharks, including taking multiple different freshman and sophomores on his line to show them how high school hockey should be played. Both with the intensity and sportsmanship. I am grateful for all he has done in his four years with us. Because of Ethan, I am confident that our next wave of Sharks will succeed because he showed them the right way to play the game.
