Emily is being given this award because she has been playing varsity hockey since she was a 9th grader. Before her Junior year, Emily tore her ACL and had to miss her entire Junior year. After rehabbing and recovering, Emily has returned this year to lead us in goals. Emily has put in a lot of time and effort to get herself back into playing shape. Even during her injury, she never complained about the injury and how it wasn’t fair. During that year off she was usually on the ice with us helping out in practices as a player/coach.
