Ellie has been a huge part of the Hutchinson girl’s varsity hockey team for the past 4-5 seasons. She’s a consistently strong defenseman that provides a lot of offense for our team each year, usually leading the team in points while playing defense throughout high school.

She isn’t just a great team player, she’s a great teammate and captain. She always gives 100% in practice and games and raises the bar for the rest of the team, always working to make her teammates better as a result.

Ellie is the type of player who you hope leaves an impression on the program when she leaves. Her work ethic, dedication, and leadership on and off the ice have set a positive example for Hutchinson hockey since she’s been a part of the team.

Her attitude, mental strength, and love of the game are also a huge reason why she was selected for this award. These qualities are going to add a lot of value to her future team as she plays college hockey next year at RIT.
