Elizabeth has been on our team for 4 years. She does not see much game playing time. The amazing fact of this is Elizabeth, now a Senior, still does not see much playing time. She watches Freshmen play over her yet, she is a leader on our team.
At the end of every season, I give out a questionnaire asking who should be a Captain and why. Elizabeth was the only player that EVERY team player voted for including the coaches. One of our team players said it best when asked why. The player said, Bethie plays with HEART, DEDICATION and DETERIMATION and is always giving a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
Elizabeth is a strong role model. She is dedicated, motivated and all team members look up to her. She keeps our team’s spirits up throughout all our seasons, days that have been terrific and days that have been difficult. Bethie is always the first to speak-up in the locker room. She gets the team focused and ready to do their best for their team. I know Elizabeth will continue to set high goals for herself and achieve them. She makes those she works with feel fortunate to know her.
