Liz is a very skilled and gifted athlete, among the best in the league.  It would be easy for someone with her skills to become a selfish player.  Liz goes out of her way to make those around her better, both on and off the ice. On the ice Liz is a strong defensive player and leads her team in assists. She helps younger, developing players, in practice and in game situations. Her selfless play has helped other players gain confidence and skill.  Her energy and passion for the game and her team is obvious to all around her.  She volunteers at every booster/fund raising event and has recruited new players every year.  She leads by example and by her attitude.  Her dedication, drive and love of the game is impressive for someone her age.
