Elle Mone has been selected as our team’s Hobey Baker nominee because she represents everything this award stands for: character, commitment, and excellence both on and off the ice.

A four-year varsity player and two-year captain, Elle has been a foundational leader in our program. She surpassed 100 career points this season, a milestone that reflects her consistency, vision, and ability to elevate the players around her. She is a true playmaker who competes hard in every situation and leads by example in games and practices alike.

Beyond her performance, Elle’s leadership sets her apart. She is fiercely loyal to her teammates, willing to stand up for others, and committed to maintaining a positive and competitive culture within our program. Younger players look to her as a role model because of the way she prepares, competes, and carries herself.

Off the ice, Elle is equally impressive. She is an outstanding student, a high-level multi-sport athlete, and someone who is deeply connected to and supportive of her community. She demonstrates integrity, accountability, and maturity in all that she does.

Elle’s impact on our program extends far beyond statistics. She has helped raise the standard for what it means to be a leader in our locker room, and she leaves behind a legacy of competitiveness, humility, and commitment.

For these reasons, Elle Mone is an exceptional representative of the Hobey Baker Award.
