Drew Blake’s work ethic and passion were on display every time he laced up his skates in a practice or game. A quiet and reserved leader off the ice and when he put on his goalie gear he became the heartbeat of our team. As one of our captains, he truly made the entire team and coaching staff believe that we could win every game we played. We all believe not just because of how he played the game, we believed because of the way he played. No matter the score, Drew played the exact same way from the start of the game to the end. He taught the whole team what sportsmanship, work ethic and passion look like every single day of the season.
