Dimitri Thiviaos ,a defenseman for Mamaroneck High school Varsity Ice Hockey Team, as a student athlete who exemplifies the values of the Hobey baker award.
Dimitri a two-year Team captain of the Mamaroneck Varsity Hockey team and leader on and off the ice .From the blue line, he has made significant impact offensively, earning a place on the All Time Team scoring List, an impressive achievement for a defenseman.
Beyond statistics, Dimitri is widely respected within the school community .His teachers consistently speak of his character, kindness, and strong work ethic, and is known by his peers as a someone who leads by example. Academically, he is a good student who prides in his responsibilities, balancing the demands of leadership and competition with maturity.
Dimitri was recognized last season with HM All- section, further reflecting his dedication, performance, and leadership.
