David is the consummate team player . He is one of our leading character players and quiet leaders . After surgery last year he has worked hard to return to top form, both out of pride for himself and his game as well as to be ready to defend the net for his teammates He holds the team net minder season record (2015-16) for most wins. As a senior goalie he split time with a talented younger player and supported that player and the decision of the coaches. David gives back of his talent by working with youth goalies in the community helping them their skill development and mental knowledge of the position .
Davis Dew is most deserving of the Liberty 2018 Hobey Baker award .
