Mounds View High School | Mustangs | GIRLS
It is an honor to nominate Cristi for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award. Cristi has a calm presence on and off the ice that few players possess. She is a strong competitor which has been essential in our program’s success. Her value goes beyond on-ice presence however, as the legacy she will leave with the Mustangs will speak for the character of her as a player and person. A role model for our youth, she is highly respected by her teammates, coaches, and community.
Cristi encompasses all of the attributes of good character and citizenship, demonstrating leadership on/off the ice and her willingness to serve others. She is the definition of integrity and good character, as demonstrated in her volunteer work in the community. She is a great hockey player, but more importantly, a great person. She possesses loyalty, commitment, persistence, honesty, selflessness, a passionate drive, and a great work ethic. Cristi always leads by example and reaches out to teammates to help teach those qualities she exemplifies to the younger generation. She has and continues to search for opportunities to serve others, fulfilling her intrinsic responsibility to the community, while balancing success in academics and sports. It is without doubt that Cristi will continue to make a positive impact on others, as she does everything with integrity and a selfless heart. She is a true candidate for the Hobey Baker Character Award, with her success on and off the ice exemplifying her character.
