Courtney is a fantastic Captain and team leader, she shows character in a number of ways from helping out our younger players on and off the ice to being a team leader in the locker room.  She is also one of the most unselfish players I have ever coached, she cares about her team and how they are doing.  She plays over half of each game and has not been in the penalty box all year, this in itself is nothing short of being miraculous.  Courtney is young lady that fits the criteria for this award perfectly.
