Christine Lampron
2018 | Pennsylvania | GIRLS
Bishop Shanahan High School | Varsity Girls Shanny Puck | GIRLS
Christine was born in Canada and started playing hockey early. She faced adversity at a young age when she lost her mom to cancer. With no one in Canada to care for Christine and her sister, they moved to Pennsylvania to live with her Aunt and Uncle. Christine continued to play, developing her incredible puck handling and shooting skills as well as her leadership skills as Captain for the BSHS team. Many others in her position could have chosen a different path. Hockey has served Christine as an outlet to cope, her hockey family has provided support during difficult times and she has been a leader to those younger than her as well as newer to the game. Christine has taken the adversity she faced as a young child and has channeled that into playing hockey. Not just playing hockey, but playing hockey exceptionally well. Christine will be graduating this year and has already been accepted to the University of Delaware. I hope she continues to play hockey not only for the team comradery but for the sheer love of the game.
