Carson Cox epitomizes the Hobey Baker spirit by leading with character on and off the ice! He is a two-time peer selected Captain and defensive player of the year who has set defensive records for most points in a season, assists in a season, goals in a game, and the best plus-minus statistic for a defenseman in our programs 26-year history! The ultimate teammate, he simply makes every player around him better. His off-ice accomplishments are equally impressive. Carson is the Vice President of the High School Student Council serving a population of over 3,000 students. He is the Commissioner of Creek Crew which mentors 1,000 incoming freshman per year, and serves on the Beavercreek Youth Council to organize student volunteerism in the broader community. He is an Officer for the National Honor Society, and volunteers for the 4 Paws for Ability organization, which trains working dogs for our communities handicapped citizens. This young man of character exemplifies the Hobey Baker spirit.
