Between this season amd last, Carsen has made a significant change in overall performance and character. Last year, Carsen was a player who put up good numbers for the team, but consistently found himself in the penalty box. This year he has turned a new leaf and has lead his team to another playoff appearance and state championship run. Carsen earned himself the role of Captain and continued to show his leadership skills on and off the ice to a younger aged high school team. He has shown tremendous maturity and character by demonstrating that he can be the leader the team needs and showing it by his example.
