Camille has been on the team for 3 years and every year it has been such a pleasure not only getting to know Camille as a person and player, but to watch her grow into the young woman she is today. Throughout her time on the team, Camille has been a part of one State Championship, participated in USA National Camps, and she is also one of our captains this season. Camille is the type of person that everyone wants to be around. She has this personality about her that is exciting, reassuring, funny, caring, and contagious. Camille was voted one of our team captains this season and every bit of it was so deserving. She comes to the rink every day with a smile on her face which automatically puts a smile on my face. We joke around and poke fun at each other sometimes, but when it comes down to it, we trust each other, and I know that I can count on Camille in any situation. Camille’s hard work and determination have gotten her to where she is now, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Her on ice skills from being a shutdown defenseman to also creating opportunities for our team to put pucks in the net are just some of the reasons for Camille’s success in hockey. When you combine the on ice skill with her off ice personality, it makes for a very special player and person.
