Cameron has a true love for the game of hockey. He has been asked to play every skating position in every situation and has done so with a smile. Cameron is extremely positive on the bench and very coachable. During a recent game we entered the 3rd period ahead by two goals. Yet with just a few mins left in the third period the game became tied. During a timeout Cameron came into the huddle and spoke to the team. He suggested positioning on the ensuing face-off along with thoughts on what to do if we won the puck and how to forecheck if we lost the puck. With buy-in from his line mates and the positive / upbeat leadership from Cameron when play restarted we scored. Cameron has the respect of his team mates for his keen hockey knowledge and quick thinking and because of this the team snapped our third period streak. Yet this is only one story of how Cameron is a positive hockey role model for our team. Cameron will go on to do wonderful things always making the people and community around him more enriched. I wish him the absolute best with his future as I know it is extremely bright.
