Brian Krawiec
2019 | Connecticut | BOYS
Staples | Wreckers | BOYS
Without hesitation, we as a coaching staff recommend Brian Krawiec for the 2019 Hobey Baker High School Character Award. Brian has been a great senior addition to our program this year. Brian did not play for Staples last year but ever since he stepped onto our team, he has been a strong, consistent leader. His leadership shines both on and off the ice. As a coaching staff, we believe that Brian should be recognized for embracing the values that the game teaches. As an athlete, Brian is focused and determined. Often, he is called on to play in all positions (offence and defense) and to do whatever he can to help the team. He always responds, Where ever you need me, coach.â€_x009d_ Brian has a sense of friendliness and fair play, often treating everyone from teammates to opponents, coaches to referees courteously. Brian’s healthy perspective and cheerful demeanor have made him a leader on the team since he joined. Day in and day out, Brian shows up to the rink ready to give his best effort and has even had to have been sat down due to him trying to play through injuries. He has a passionate love and respect for the game, making him a perfect candidate for the 2019 Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
