Brian, started playing hockey for the first time his freshman year.  He was cut that year and was told that he needs to work on his skills if he wanted to make the hockey team the following year.  Brain returned to tryouts the following year and to the coaching staffs surprise had improved immensely due to his continued training the past 12 months.  Brain eventually made the swing team his senior year and got his first varsity goal on Monday January 20, 2014 against division rival Marquette Mustangs.  Brain also excels in the class room earning a 3.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale.  Brain hopes to continue his education at the University of Missouri Columbia in the fall of 2014.
