I am proud to nominate Brennan Hampton for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award in recognition of his exceptional character, leadership, and commitment to our hockey program.

Brennan is a four year member of our boys varsity hockey team who consistently leads with character first. While he may not always appear on the scoresheet as one of our top statistical performers, his impact on our program is immeasurable. Brennan embodies what it means to be a true student-athlete by placing team success, culture, and integrity above individual recognition.

He is selfless in every sense of the word. Brennan accepts his role without hesitation, works relentlessly in practice, and competes with purpose whenever called upon. His attitude never wavers. He shows up every day prepared, positive, and committed to doing the little things that elevate a team.

Perhaps most importantly, Brennan plays a vital role in shaping our team culture. He goes out of his way to welcome new players into the program, helping them feel valued and supported from day one. He fosters an environment built on mutual respect, accountability, and positivity. Younger players look to him as an example of how to carry oneself, not just as a hockey player, but as a teammate and member of the school community.

Brennan understands that leadership is not defined by goals or assists, but by consistency, humility, and service to others. Our program is stronger because of him.

For his unwavering character, integrity, and commitment to team-first values, Brennan Hampton is highly deserving of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
