Brandon Ng is this years Colgan High School recipient of the Hoby Baker High School Character Award. Brandon has played Varsity high school hockey as a defenseman for 4 years, earning the Captain for 2022/23 and League All Star three years. Brandon has always been one of the natural leaders for the team even when he entered as a freshman. He has the respect of his coaches, teammates and parents on and off the ice. Brandon continued his love for the game, by becoming a certified referee in 2020 and shares his love of the game as he supports the 12U and younger games. He’s the first to arrive, the first to encourage and the last to leave, whether it’s a game, practice or a community service event. He’s smile is contagious and his welcoming, encouraging personality has earned the respect of all his teammates. After high school he strives to continue his contributions by studying pre-med as he pursues his medical degree.
