Throughout the past four seasons I have had the pleasure of watching Brad mature as a young man. Brad is mature beyond his years and represented our program with honor and integrity.

As a four year letter winner, Brad is a brilliant performer on and off the ice. Brad was named Team Captain as a junior and during his two year tenure he has guided the program to become one of the elite teams in the state. As one the elite defenseman in the state of Ohio, he was named as an All-Ohio 1st Team Defenseman as a Junior. Prior to his senior season, Brad was named to the 2022-23 USA Today High School Sports Awards Boys Hockey National Watch List, the only Cardinal player in history of our program to receive this nomination. As a member of the Mentor Cardinals Boys Varsity Hockey Team, Brad will graduate as the record holder for All-Time Career Points as a Defenseman with 48 goals 82 assists for 130 points.

Beyond the sport of hockey, Brad is a certified USA Hockey referee, while balancing school and a part time job. Additionally, Brad spends hours volunteering for Special Sports where he assisted children with special needs and Autism in various athletic activities. To add to this, Brad volunteered at the Okicki Hockey Skills Camp during his summers and for the National Honor Society participating in events such as the Lake Metroparks Haunted Hayride as well as Science and Olympiad competitions. He excelled in the classroom as he carried one of the highest grade point averages in the program and was named to the National Honor Society as a junior, all this while excelling as an elite player on the ice.
