We will be nominating Blaine Reinhart this season. Blaine has been a 3 year player for the program and has really stepped up as a leader his senior year. Despite not being selected as a captain, Blaine has provided leadership by his display of work ethic on the ice in practice and in games. Blaine’s efforts continued to get better as the year progressed, which in turn made his teammates work harder both in practice and games. Because of his continuous efforts he created many opportunities for his teammates. In addition to his efforts on the ice, Blaine has also excelled in the classroom academically and assisting others through our Moe Buddy program, tutoring kids with special needs or other students that need assistance. Blaine really matured as a player throughout his senior season and his competitive nature and eagerness to play the game became contagious setting an excellent example for his peers. Blaine has volunteered his time in the community for various organizations and also in the school setting. Blaine’s overall respect for the game and character make him an upstanding student athlete, therefor and outstanding candidate for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
