Ben James’ passion and dedication to the sport of hockey is unquestioned. Ben has continued to play the sport he loves, even after a cancer diagnosis and treatment at a young age. He serves as a source of inspiration for our team and for those around him with his compassion and willingness to sacrifice whatever it takes for the betterment of the team. His personal character is unwavering in the way he sticks to his values and beliefs – often helping to develop and mentor the younger members of the team. There is no player better aligned with the spirit of this award than Ben James and we are honored to select him to receive it for the Bishop Dwenger hockey program!
